The ingredients and the farmers I buy from.  I stopped using the chemically stripped butters from my suppliers about 5 years ago.  Until then, that was all that was available to me. 

Shea Butter - Then Baraka came on the scene.  A small Canadian company that started a women's initiative in Ghana, Africa.  Dwayne buys the Shea butter that the women make using tradition practices.  The money made by the women supports their families allowing them to send their children to school.  The result was that this shea butter worked better than any other we had used before.  It increases the elasticity of skin and moisturizing effect.

Cupacau, Ubuuba, Tucuma, Mango Butters - Soon after, a Brazilian women started using her ties to the indigenous rainforest tribes to buy healing butters harvested ethically, using techniques handed down through the generations. We know these tribes are hyper-protective of their forests, and our support helps keep them in their homes protecting the forest and supporting their way of life and families. Your purchase of this product makes a difference! The butters retain their healing qualities when they are harvested by these tribes instead of being chemically stripped of their colour, scent and texture by a factory. They are not mass produced and fed manmade chemicals to help them grow and they do not come from clear cut forests burned down to make room for big industry farms.  

Despite the higher cost, we quickly switched to these ethically sourced butters and our Nature's Touch effects on skin problems increases dramatically. People started sending in pictures of their results on skin problems we never thought our Nature's Touch could ever help. Now we just tell people to try it on any ailment, because we don't know how many conditions it can actually help with!

Beeswax - We use local beekeeper's honey from B.C. and Alberta, which is not chemically stripped of it's colour or scent.  Our local beekeepers love their bees, taking extra care to keep them healthy and safe from harm.
